Since 2002, Leipert Motorsport has been part of the professional motorsports business. They have has been very successful and won many titles in the German Formula racing and touring car sports. In 2009, the team around Ingo Leipert dared to take the next step into the ADAC GT Masters and thus into the sporting car- and GT area. One could convince right from the start using the Ascari KZ1R GT3 and gained podium positions in the worldwide strongest national GT3 Championships. For 2010, they are jointly responsible for the further development and homologation of the Ascari GT3 racing car.


Furthermore, since 2007, the team from Wegberg in Western Germany has been assigned with the conception and accomplishment of the young drivers' support programme of rhino's energy GmbH, the "rhino's junior squad".

This is the principle of Leipert Motorsport. Hence, it is no wonder that, for years already, the ambitioned team has developed bondage with regular partners with whom they have been collaborating in long term business and from whom they have been entrusted with important tasks. For example, since 2005, they have had a close partnership with "rhino's", an energy drink producer from Munich. In 2007, the young drivers' support programme "rhino's junior squad" was born in which more than 10 drivers of 7 different nations have been supported so far.


At the start of the 2009 season, Leipert Motorsport entered the ADAC GT Masters series with the Ascari sports car which positively stood out amongst the other sport cars. The Team could surprise with very good results in mid-season already and was henceforth entrusted with the further development of different car components. Leipert Motorsport is significantly jointly responsible for the future Ascari GT3 programme. Amongst others, homologation of the Ascari GT3 Evolution model is the responsibility of the Team from Wegberg.
